Apart from creating some rather messy watercolour paintings as a kid, I only really took an interest in art a few years ago. I started out sketching with charcoal but found it too messy. That’s when I decided to start sketching with pencil and creating detailed line drawings.

I have been drawing ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil. I love beautiful pictures, especially beautiful faces. I like to challenge myself and add depth through shading, contrast and detail in the hair and clothing. I want to start integrating color to my pictures and also give them more of an abstract appeal. I aim for each piece to be unique and defined to the best of my abilities.

I attend the College for Creative Studies in Detroit MI. I'm going to be a senior in Illustration this coming up semester

I am as senior illustration major at Ringling College in Sarasota, FL. My hope is to break into editorial and picture book illustration. I'm simply trying to make good pictures and make a difference. Thanks for looking at my work!

Ambience Productions is dedicated to promoting creative talent on a global scale. Through our website and contests we showcase some of this talent and introduce the world to new and emerging artists, photographers and writers.

The Ambience Art Contest 2008 is open to all mediums of art; whether it be painting (oils, acrylics, watercolours), graphic art, sculpting, drawing, sketching and the like. All categories are welcome, as too are entrants from all countries.

The contest will be judged by the resident artists of Ambience Productions. We have two experienced artists on board and no preference will be given to a particular category of art. Our judges produce a diverse variety of art themselves and are keen to view all types.

Winners will receive great prize money, as well as a downloadable certificate to commemorate your win! The winning entries and artist's profiles will be published on our site.

Entering is simple. Nothing needs to be posted. It is all done entirely via the internet. We don't require you to send in your actual artworks. All you need to do is take a good quality digital photograph of your work and save it in jpeg format (please keep file sizes under 2 Mb). Then, fill out the online Entry Form via the link below, attach the jpeg image of your artwork and email your entry to us at:  artcontest@ambienceproductions.com.au
